Rain Forecast to Persist Nationwide Until July 18

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast more rain across the country, including Islamabad. Heavy showers, thunderstorms, and strong winds are expected in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and parts of Sindh. Some areas may experience intense rainfall, raising the risk of urban flooding. Cities like Lahore, Rawalpindi, Murree, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, and Swat are likely to see more rain. In Lahore’s Samanabad, 147 mm of rainfall has already been recorded, highlighting the strength of the current weather system.
