In a tragic case of domestic violence in Sheikhupura, a six-month pregnant woman named Iqra lost her life along with her unborn child after being brutally tortured by her husband. The 22-year-old suffered severe head injuries, including skull fractures, as confirmed by the autopsy report. The assault allegedly occurred after she visited her mother’s home, which angered her husband, Zohaib. The postmortem revealed torture marks on at least ten parts of her body. Iqra was hospitalized at Lahore’s General Hospital but passed away after three days.
