The Pakistan Cricket Board has launched an investigation after reports that all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz tested positive for a prohibited substance during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
The International Cricket Council informed the PCB of the result, which is believed to involve a recreational drug. The board is reviewing the case and will share findings as per anti-doping rules.
Nawaz is currently playing for Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League, with no suspension announced so far.
