Donald Trump said that Xi Jinping offered China’s support to help keep the Strait of Hormuz open and assured that Beijing would not provide military equipment to Iran during its conflict with the US and Israel.
Speaking to the Hannity show on Fox News, Trump said Xi strongly stated that China would not send military support to Iran following their meeting in Beijing.
Trump also claimed that the Chinese president expressed willingness to help maintain stability in the Strait of Hormuz, saying China was ready to assist in keeping the important global trade route open.
