Pakistani weightlifter Kashif Rehan brought pride to the nation by winning a gold medal at the World Powerlifting Championship in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Competing against over 350 athletes from various countries, he secured first place with a total lift of 310 kilograms, including a 160 kg deadlift and a 150 kg squat. His victory is especially inspiring as he had been facing severe financial challenges for months, even selling his car to take part in previous international events.
