Maryam Nawaz, holding the position of Chief Organizer within the PML-N, is set to embark on a trip to London next week, in response to an invitation extended by her father, Nawaz Sharif. During her one-week sojourn, she intends to convene with the PML-N’s leader.
Insiders within the PML-N, privy to these developments, have indicated that Maryam will provide her father with an update on the party’s preparations to offer a hearty reception upon his anticipated return to Pakistan. Additionally, it is expected that the father-daughter duo will engage in discussions pertaining to political and constitutional matters. Maryam Nawaz has conveyed her optimism that, God willing, the welcome for former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be of historic significance.
These sources have further disclosed that Nawaz Sharif will meticulously devise the particulars of his “homecoming,” while the party will solidify its strategy for extending a warm welcome upon Maryam Nawaz’s return from London.
Notably, the former Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar, has previously affirmed that there are no hindrances barring PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif from participating in future elections.
