Khalifa University in the UAE offers fully funded scholarships to students

Abu Dhabi-based Khalifa University (KU) has unveiled a new scholarship initiative for the Fall 2024 intake, designed to support both UAE nationals and international students in pursuing higher education in the UAE, alleviating financial constraints.

Eligibility Criteria:

Master’s Degree Program Applicants:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 out of 4.0 or equivalent.
Minimum English proficiency:
iBT TOEFL score of 91 or equivalent
Academic IELTS score of 6.5
1550 EmSAT English score
Minimum quantitative score of 150 in the GRE (all sections must be attempted).
Two referee recommendations.
Statement of purpose (500-1,000 words).
Admission interview.
Doctoral Degree Program Applicants:

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 (for direct Bachelor’s to PhD admission) or
Master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.25 out of 4.0.
Minimum English proficiency:
iBT TOEFL score of 91 or equivalent
Academic IELTS score of 6.5
1550 EmSAT English score
Minimum quantitative score of 150 in the GRE (all sections must be attempted).
Two referee recommendations.
Statement of purpose (500-1,000 words).
Research statement (500-1,000 words).
Admission interview.
Exemption from English Language Test:Native English speakers or graduates from an English-medium institution with an IELTS score of 6.0, TOEFL score of 79 iBT (or equivalent), or EmSAT English score of 1400 during their Bachelor’s/Master’s program.
Required Documents:

Certified copy of Bachelor’s/Master’s degree certificate.
Equivalency certificate from UAE Ministry of Education for international graduates.
Official transcripts.
English language proficiency score certificate.
GRE score report.
Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV).
Passport-style photograph.
Valid passport and UAE visa (for international students residing in UAE).
Family Book (Khulasat Al Qaid – UAE National applicants).
Valid UAE national ID card (for both national and international applicants residing in UAE).
Statement of Purpose (500 to 1,000 words).
Research Statement (500 to 1,000 words – PhD applicants only).
