Govt Cuts Petrol Price by Rs. 1/Liter Before Eid, New Price: 254.63

The government has reduced petrol prices by Rs. 1 per liter, bringing the new rate to Rs. 254.63 per liter. This adjustment follows a review of global oil price trends by the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA). However, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) remains unchanged at Rs. 258.64 per liter.

Effective immediately, this slight reduction aims to provide relief to consumers, especially with Eid-ul-Fitr approaching. Since fuel prices impact transportation and daily expenses, even a small decrease can ease financial strain. The government reviews petrol and diesel prices every two weeks, adjusting rates based on international market trends, exchange rates, and economic conditions to stabilize fuel costs and support the public.
