Babar Azam Overtakes Virat Kohli as World’s Leading T20I Run-Scorer

On Thursday, Pakistan captain Babar Azam made history by surpassing Virat Kohli to become the all-time leading run-scorer in T20 International (T20I) cricket. Babar now boasts an impressive total of 4,067 runs from 113 innings, overtaking Kohli’s record of 4,038 runs achieved in 110 innings.

Following closely behind is India’s Rohit Sharma, who has scored 4,026 runs from 144 innings.

All three cricket stars—Babar Azam, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma—are set to play in the highly anticipated India vs. Pakistan match at Nassau County Stadium in New York on Sunday.
