The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has officially announced that Friday, September 29, 2023, will be designated as a day off for federal government employees, marking the celebration of the birthday of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).
According to the notice issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, regular work operations will resume on Monday, October 2.
Traditionally, Muslims worldwide observe Milad un Nabi (Mawlid) on the 12th day of the Islamic month of Rabi Al Awwal. This day holds immense spiritual significance as it commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) within the Islamic community.
