Trump Open to Mediating Kashmir Issue, Confirms US State Department

The U.S. Department of State has reaffirmed President Donald Trump’s commitment to addressing the Kashmir dispute, emphasizing his efforts to resolve long-standing international conflicts. Following his role in easing tensions between India and Pakistan after one of their most intense military standoffs in decades, Trump offered to mediate on Kashmir, expressing hope for a solution to the decades-old issue. At a White House briefing, State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce noted that while specific plans weren’t disclosed, Trump’s track record of initiating dialogue gives hope for progress. She highlighted his unique ability to bring opposing sides to the table for meaningful talks.
