The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide financial assistance to Pakistan to modernize the country’s power distribution system and improve bill collections.
The ADB has approved $200 million in financial aid for upgrading Pakistan’s electricity system, which will be credited soon. The goal is to ensure an uninterrupted energy supply across the country.
The funds will be used to improve the infrastructure of LESCO, MEPCO, and SEPCO, benefiting the business sector by ensuring a continuous electricity supply.
Additionally, the financial aid aims to reduce electrical damage, which will help minimize financial losses for businesses.
