Sindh government unaware as NAB recovers land worth Rs 6 trillion

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has recovered 90% of 1.8 million acres of land in Sindh, of which the provincial government was reportedly unaware.

Journalist Asif Bashir Chaudhary disclosed on the YouTube show ‘Talk SHOCK’ that NAB issued notices to land occupants, requiring them to provide proof of ownership, but they could not present the necessary documents. He noted that the land belongs to the Sukkur and Karachi forest reserves, and the Ministry of Forest lacks records for it.

Chaudhary mentioned that NAB Chairman Lt Gen (retd) Nazir Ahmad had documentation for 16,200 acres of recovered land, which he presented to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, who was reportedly unaware of the situation.
