Saudi Prince Mohammad Bin Salman hosted an Iftar dinner for PM Shehbaz Sharif in Makkah

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is presently undertaking a three-day official trip to Saudi Arabia, where he partook in an Iftar dinner hosted by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman at Al-Safa Palace in Makkah on Sunday.

The Iftar gathering held great significance and splendor. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, alongside the Crown Prince of Bahrain and other distinguished guests, shared in the breaking of fast, a revered tradition during Ramadan.

The gracious host for the Iftar was the Saudi Crown Prince, with the Prime Minister’s Office revealing that a special invitation was extended to Prime Minister Shehbaz’s delegation.

Among the invitees to the Iftar dinner were Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and members of the federal cabinet.

Prime Minister Shehbaz commenced his visit to Saudi Arabia on Saturday, slated for a three-day duration from April 6 to 8. His accompanying delegation comprises several federal ministers including Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Abdul Aleem Khan, Attaullah Tarar, and Ahad Khan Cheema.

Throughout the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz and the Saudi Crown Prince engaged in extensive discussions primarily focused on bolstering bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. They delved into matters pertaining to trade, investment, and explored avenues for collaboration across various sectors.

A statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office highlighted the discourse between the two leaders, encompassing various projects and potential areas for cooperation between their respective countries.
