A historic moment unfolded at the President House when President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, bestowed the prestigious ‘Hilal-e-Pakistan’ award upon the Vice Prime Minister of China, He Lifeng.
The grand ceremony took place in Islamabad on the auspicious occasion of the 10th anniversary of CPEC, on 31st July 2023. He Lifeng was recognized and honored with Pakistan’s second-highest civil award for his significant contributions to fostering the Pakistan-China friendship and for his efforts in promoting and fortifying the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
Dignitaries and distinguished personalities graced the event, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, National Assembly Speaker, Services Chiefs, federal ministers, Senate Chairman, and parliamentarians. The esteemed Chinese Vice Premier, He Lifeng, was an esteemed guest of honor.
