The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) have recently implemented new travel restrictions. Airlines are now mandated to check the polio vaccination cards of passengers traveling abroad, applicable to all airports and airlines.
Passengers are strongly advised to ensure their polio vaccination cards are up-to-date when traveling internationally. It is essential to obtain updated cards once the old ones have expired.
In June, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) removed the requirement for COVID-19 vaccination and testing evidence for travel to and from Pakistan. This means passengers are no longer required to present COVID-19 vaccine certificates upon arrival or provide negative PCR reports before boarding flights.
Furthermore, the 2% COVID-19 screening for passengers arriving from the UK, Gulf, and other countries has also been abolished.
These decisions are effective immediately, as directed by the National Command and Operations Center, and will remain in effect until further notice.
