Rizwan recently returned from performing Umrah after Pakistan’s participation in the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. He, along with other senior players, was not included in the five-match T20I series against New Zealand.
Meanwhile, Pakistan faced a tough start in the T20I series against New Zealand, suffering a heavy nine-wicket defeat in the first match. The batting lineup struggled, managing to post a low total.
