A minor girl’s body was found in a drain in Karachi’s Liaquatabad area on Wednesday evening. The five-year-old had allegedly been subjected to “sexual assault” before being murdered, according to the police.
The police said the body of a minor girl, aged between 5-7 years, seemed to be at least 24-48 hours old.
The girl was a resident of Sikandar Goth of Sachal area and went missing on Tuesday.
The victim’s body was found near the drain located in Liaquatabad B Area and was subsequently taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital to uncover the cause of death.
