Malaysia PM Anwar Ibrahim Raises Concerns Over Trump’s Gaza Peace Plan

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has voiced concerns over U.S. President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace plan, calling it incomplete and saying Malaysia disagrees with several of its points. Speaking to local media, Anwar emphasized that his top priority is saving Palestinian lives. He clarified that support from Arab and Islamic nations for the plan does not mean full agreement with its terms but reflects a collective effort to stop the bloodshed and allow Palestinians to return home. Meanwhile, Al Jazeera reported that Hamas has responded to Trump’s 20-point proposal, expressing readiness to release all Israeli prisoners in exchange for ending the war and ensuring a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.
