Major (Retd) Khurram Mushtaq has been appointed as the new CEO of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), succeeding Air Vice Marshal Aamir Hayat, whose term has ended.A long-time PIA employee, Khurram Mushtaq is from Okara and the son-in-law of Rao Sikandar Hayat, a former Minister of Defense.The decision was finalized during a meeting of the PIA board of directors, with his appointment effective December 5th.
