A Karachi sessions court has sentenced Muhammad Sarfaraz alias Nikka to life imprisonment for sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl in Malir. The crime took place at his residence in Scheme 33 on May 24, 2022. The court, led by Additional Sessions Judge Syed Ghous Ali Shah Jilani, ruled that eyewitness accounts, DNA reports, medical findings, and physical evidence strongly proved the case against him. Sarfaraz was also fined Rs100,000, with an additional six months in jail if unpaid. Citing his young age and status as a first-time offender, the court opted for life imprisonment instead of the death penalty.
