Social activist and lawyer Jibran Nasir has called on Defence Minister Khawaja Asif to help secure the release of pro-Palestinian activist Jameel Behram, who was reportedly abducted from his Karachi home on October 3. Highlighting Khawaja Asif’s strong stance on the Palestine issue, Jibran urged him to use his influence as a minister to take action. The appeal came after the Defence Minister posted on X about global support for Palestine, noting the lack of large Muslim-led protests except in Yemen. In response, Jibran reminded him of his earlier claims of having full authority and urged him to use that power to bring Jameel Behram home safely.
