ICC Fines Pakistan Cricket Team for Slow Over-Rate in First ODI vs Sri Lanka

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has fined the Pakistan cricket team 20% of their match fee for a slow over-rate in the first ODI against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi on November 11. Pakistan fell four overs short of the required rate, even after time allowances, leading Match Referee Ali Naqvi to issue the reprimand under Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct, which addresses minimum over-rate violations.
