Hamas has agreed to allow humanitarian aid to reach Israeli hostages in Gaza, following Israeli PM Netanyahu’s appeal to the Red Cross. However, the group insists that Palestinians must also receive consistent food and medical supplies. This statement came after Hamas released a video showing two Israeli hostages appearing malnourished. The ICRC has called for immediate access to the captives. Hamas spokesperson Abu Obeida stated that cooperation is possible if aid corridors are opened, airstrikes are halted during deliveries, and aid reaches all parts of Gaza. He added that hostages receive the same rations as local residents.
