Gold prices in Pakistan have dropped sharply, offering relief amid soaring inflation. As per the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, gold per tola fell by Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 356,000, while the rate for 10 grams dropped by Rs. 2,572 to Rs. 305,212. This decline follows a $30 dip in global gold prices, now at $3,335 per ounce. The drop ends a four-day streak of rising local rates.
