France Recognizes Palestine as a State at Historic UN Session

France and Monaco have officially recognized the State of Palestine, marking a major diplomatic shift announced at a high-level conference. French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized the need to preserve the two-state solution, calling for Israel and Palestine to coexist in peace and security. He also outlined a plan for a renewed Palestinian Authority, with France set to open an embassy once conditions such as reforms, a ceasefire, and the release of prisoners in Gaza are met.
