Belarus President: Committed to Strengthening 30-Year Ties with Pakistan

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has reaffirmed his dedication to strengthening the 30-year partnership between Belarus and Pakistan. During a joint press conference with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House, he emphasized enhancing collaboration in technology, agriculture, and defense production.

President Lukashenko called for the swift implementation of agreements and MoUs to deliver tangible benefits to the people of both nations. He also expressed a keen interest in supporting community-focused projects to improve lives and create new opportunities.

Showing solidarity with Pakistan, the Belarusian leader extended support following the recent devastating floods, underscoring Belarus’s enduring friendship during challenging times.

He also reflected on his past discussions with former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, commending Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership in advancing bilateral cooperation. Lukashenko praised Shehbaz Sharif’s proactive efforts, noting that strong leadership is vital to addressing today’s global challenges.
