Sindh Govt Launches E-Taxi Program to Empower Youth

The Sindh government has launched an e-taxi program to create jobs for young people in the province. Information Minister Sharjeel Memon announced that the scheme will help youth own and operate electric taxis through a subsidized plan.

The cost of these vehicles will be shared by the government, banks, and the participants, making them more affordable.

This initiative aims to empower the youth by promoting self-reliance while meeting the growing demand for eco-friendly transportation. It also offers sustainable job opportunities in the expanding e-taxi sector.

By making electric vehicles accessible, the program encourages young individuals to secure their future and build successful careers. Memon highlighted that this effort is part of the Sindh government’s mission to reduce unemployment and boost economic independence across the region.
