The Balochistan government has banned the movement of public transport on highways from 5pm to 5am, with route permits to be cancelled for violations. Announced during a meeting chaired by Provincial Transport Secretary Muhammad Hayat Kakar, the decision aims to enforce Home Department directives against night travel. All deputy commissioners have been instructed to halt nighttime operations, while transporters must install vehicle trackers, deploy security guards, and follow anti-smuggling measures.
