Babar Azam says he’s not satisfied with his current position and aims to achieve more milestones

Babar Azam, the acclaimed Pakistani cricketer currently displaying his talents with the Rangpur Riders in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), voiced his discontent with his current performance, despite his successes. At 29 years old, the batter stressed that he envisions more milestones to conquer in his cricketing career.

In a recent interview, Babar disclosed that when confronted with setbacks, he actively seeks input from various individuals to glean insights from his errors, underscoring his dedication to continual growth.

Acknowledging the caliber of spin bowlers in the Bangladesh Premier League, Babar emphasized the necessity of adapting to varied pitch conditions. This acknowledgment showcases his strategic and flexible approach to confronting diverse challenges in the tournament.

Having recently competed in New Zealand, Babar drew parallels between the playing conditions there and those in the BPL, indicating his ability to transfer lessons learned from one cricketing environment to another. Regarding his batting strategy, Babar stressed the importance of forging partnerships and maintaining a presence at the crease, highlighting the significance of stability and collaboration in achieving success.

In the ongoing BPL, Babar Azam has exhibited his batting prowess by accumulating 157 runs in four innings with an impressive average of 52.33 and a strike rate of 112.94.
