At least eight suspected terrorists were killed by security forces during an operation in Daraban, Dera Ismail Khan, after a Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) team was attacked near the Kot Lalu area on Monday. The operation was launched following intelligence reports about militant activity in a nearby forest. According to sources, the action was carried out in response to the attack on the SNGPL team, during which security personnel also reportedly sustained casualties. However, no official statement has been released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) regarding the losses so far.
