405-Kanal Plot of Malik Riaz’s Son Auctioned

The federal government has auctioned 405 kanals of agricultural land owned by Ali Riaz Malik, son of property tycoon Malik Riaz and an absconder in the £190 million Al-Qadir Trust case. The land in Mohra Noor was sold for Rs3.42 million per kanal during a committee-supervised auction in Bhara Kahu. Former PM Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi are already jailed in connection with the case. Meanwhile, property linked to another absconder, Farhat Shehzadi alias Farah Gogi, attracted no buyers.
