A love marriage ended in tragedy in Karachi after a woman was shot dead and her husband critically injured during a firing incident in the Lassi Goth area. Police said the couple had contracted a court marriage and were living in a rented house when unidentified armed men entered the home and opened fire within the limits of Sohrab Goth police station. The woman, identified as Latifa Magsi, died on the spot, while her husband Nasrullah sustained a head injury and remains in critical condition. Police and rescue teams shifted the victims to hospital, while authorities have launched an investigation and vowed to arrest those responsible.
