Wealthy Muslim Entrepreneur Plans to Construct Mosque in London’s Iconic Trocadero

The Mail on Sunday reports that Asif Aziz, a wealthy Muslim businessman known as ‘Mr West End’ for his property ventures, is spearheading the construction of a significant mosque and Islamic center in London’s bustling entertainment area, the Trocadero. The three-story mosque will be situated between Piccadilly Circus and Soho, occupying the space formerly occupied by the Metro cinema, which closed in 2006. Once completed, the mosque will have the capacity to accommodate up to 390 worshippers.
