Trump Says Saudi Recognition of Israel Would Be an Honor

During his visit to Saudi Arabia, former U.S. President Donald Trump urged the Kingdom to recognize Israel, calling it a step that would be a “great personal honor.” Speaking at the Investment Forum in Riyadh, Trump expressed his hope that Saudi Arabia would join the Abraham Accords—historic agreements brokered during his presidency that normalized ties between Israel and several Arab countries, including the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan. Trump highlighted this as a key goal and one of his proudest foreign policy achievements.
