The government hasn’t given orders to stop mobile and internet services on election day, according to the information minister

The Caretaker Information Minister, Murtaza Solangi, clarified that the government has not issued any directives thus far to suspend mobile or internet services on February 8.

In a statement to Radio Pakistan via a private news channel, he highlighted that in the event of any law and order concerns arising on polling day across the nation, the local administration would make decisions as deemed necessary.

Solangi encouraged the public to responsibly exercise their democratic privilege to vote, emphasizing that it reflects their patriotism and commitment to democratic progression within the country.
