Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has urged the international community to ensure that Palestinians are granted their rights in accordance with United Nations resolutions, stressing that violations of the Gaza ceasefire must immediately end to achieve lasting peace in the Middle East. Addressing the Gaza Board of Peace meeting, the Prime Minister said that durable peace in Gaza is a shared global responsibility and reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for the establishment of a free and sovereign Palestinian state. He also praised former US President Donald Trump for his role in conflict resolution, claiming that Trump’s timely intervention helped prevent a potential war between Pakistan and India and saved millions of lives through a ceasefire. Shehbaz Sharif described him as a champion of peace and called for continued efforts to secure stability and long-term peace in Gaza.
