Sharjah has announced the launch of a free WiFi service on intercity buses.

As part of their comprehensive development plan, Sharjah’s transportation authority has launched a free WiFi service on intercity buses, aiming to improve service quality for passengers.

Passengers waiting for their buses at Sharjah’s bus station can easily connect to the internet via an open WiFi network, without the need to create usernames or provide personal information like email or phone numbers.

The buses operate on around 15 main routes within the city and are part of Sharjah’s integrated public transport system, primarily run by Mowasalat Buses, which accepts convenient payment options such as Sayer and Mowasalat cards, similar to the NOL card in Dubai.
