Shahid Afridi Advises Mohsin Naqvi to Resign from One Position Amidst Dual Roles

Former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Khan Afridi has called for Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi to step down, suggesting that Naqvi should focus on a single responsibility. Afridi made the comments amid rumors of Naqvi’s resignation, describing the PCB chairmanship as a “24/7 job.” While praising Naqvi for his hard work, Afridi emphasized that balancing multiple roles could hinder Naqvi’s ability to improve cricket in Pakistan. Sources also revealed that during the T20 World Cup in the U.S. in June, Naqvi had offered Afridi a position at the PCB, but Afridi declined due to his busy schedule.
