Former Pakistan women’s cricket captain Sana Mir made history by becoming the first Pakistani female cricketer inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame. Known for her exceptional all-round performance, Mir topped the ICC ODI bowling rankings in 2018 and led Pakistan to gold medals at the 2010 and 2014 Asian Games. Her career, which began in 2005, helped pave the way for women’s sports in Pakistan. With 226 international matches to her name, she is one of only nine women in ODI history to achieve the milestone of 1,000 runs and 100 wickets—cementing her legacy as a cricketing legend.
