Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam meet before Captain’s Day in Ahmedabad

On October 4, Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, made his way to Ahmedabad to participate in the Captains’ Day event leading up to the ICC World Cup 2023.

Upon his arrival, he received a warm and enthusiastic welcome. During the event, Babar had the opportunity to meet India’s captain, Rohit Sharma, and they exchanged a friendly hug before engaging in a relaxed conversation.

Prior to his visit to Ahmedabad, Babar Azam took part in a warm-up match against Australia in Hyderabad, where he showcased his batting prowess by scoring an impressive 90 runs from just 59 balls. He continued to shine in the first practice match against New Zealand, contributing 80 runs to his team’s score.

The Pakistan team was also warmly received in Hyderabad, as documented on their Instagram stories, highlighting the camaraderie and excitement surrounding their presence.
