PIA will ask Canadian authorities for help after two more cabin crew members disappeared within a week

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is set to seek assistance from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Canadian immigration authorities following the disappearance of two flight attendants en route to Toronto.

These recent incidents, where cabin crew members vanish during flights, shed light on a concerning trend. There appears to be a growing number of individuals, including those in white-collar professions, opting to leave their home countries due to financial challenges.

In the past two years alone, PIA has reported ten cases of crew members going missing while in Canada. An airline spokesperson confirmed this trend and stated they are collaborating with authorities to locate and repatriate the missing individuals. This phenomenon is believed to be driven by the perception that seeking asylum in Canada is more viable when confronted with economic hardships in Pakistan.
