Petrol prices may drop by Rs. 13 from December 16th.

In light of the diminishing international prices, the interim federal government in Pakistan is anticipated to extend relief to the public during the upcoming bi-weekly assessment of petrol and diesel rates.

Recent observations indicate a decline of $5.49 per barrel in global petrol prices. It is speculated that the Pakistani government may implement a reduction of Rs13 per litre in the petrol price.

Presently, the cost of petrol stands at Rs281.34 per litre, and diesel is being retailed at Rs289.79 per litre. Reports suggest that the revised rates could be set at Rs268.34 per litre for petrol and Rs274.79 per litre for diesel.
