The Finance Division has announced that petrol prices will remain unchanged at Rs264.61 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been cut by Rs3 to Rs269.99 for the next 15 days. HSD, widely used in heavy transport, agriculture, and goods movement, directly affects inflation and food prices. Meanwhile, the rates of superior kerosene oil and light diesel oil have also been reduced by Rs1.46 and Rs2.40 per litre, providing further relief to consumers.
