Pakistan’s Rice Exports Soar, Earning $720 Million in 3 Months

Pakistan’s rice exports surged, earning $721.8 million in the first quarter of the fiscal year, a 77.63% increase from last year. Between July and September, the country exported 991,000 metric tons of rice, up from 596,000 metric tons in the same period last year.

In September alone, exports reached 374,000 metric tons, bringing in $257.2 million, a 49.19% rise compared to last year’s $172.4 million. This growth highlights Pakistan’s strengthening position in global rice markets.
