Pakistan’s IT exports recorded strong growth in November 2025, rising 14 percent year-on-year to $356 million, reflecting steady expansion in the sector despite an 8 percent decline from October. The figure remained above the 12-month monthly average, highlighting sustained demand for Pakistani IT services. During the first five months of FY26, total IT exports reached $1.8 billion, showing a 19 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Experts attribute this growth to the expansion of Pakistani IT firms in GCC markets, supportive measures by the State Bank of Pakistan, and improved rupee stability, which encouraged exporters and freelancers to repatriate more foreign earnings.
