Pakistan’s hockey team beats China in Paris Olympics qualifiers

The Pakistan hockey team secured a significant victory in the Paris Olympics Qualifiers by triumphing over China with a scoreline of 2-0. This triumph breathes new life into their aspirations for participation in the upcoming major event.

In the initial half of the match, both Pakistan and China adopted a defensive style of play, resulting in a goalless phase. However, as the game progressed into the third quarter, the Green Shirts created noteworthy opportunities.

In the 42nd minute, Pakistan seized the lead when Abu Bakr scored from a penalty corner. The team further solidified their position nine minutes later when Abdul Rahman notched his first international goal, once again from a penalty corner.
