Pakistan will launch its communication satellite PAKSAT MM1 on May 30th

The Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) has set the launch date for Pakistan’s newest Multi Mission Communication Satellite, named PAKSAT MM1. This momentous occasion is slated for May 30, 2024, at the XiChang Satellite Launch Centre (XSLC) in China.

PAKSAT MM1 is a product of Pakistan’s ambitious National Space Program 2047, developed through a collaborative effort between SUPARCO and the Chinese aerospace industry.

The primary objective of this satellite is to bolster Pakistan’s communication and connectivity infrastructure, utilizing cutting-edge communication technologies to support a range of services.
