Pakistan leads in catch efficiency at the 2023 World Cup

Pakistan’s cricket team has showcased exceptional fielding prowess at the World Cup, having dropped just six catches, making them the most proficient team when it comes to catching.

During the India-Sri Lanka match, a graphic underscored Pakistan’s impressive catching record, closely followed by the Netherlands, boasting an 86 percent catch success rate.

When the initial list was unveiled on October 18, Babar Azam’s team had a catch efficiency of 79 percent. However, they have elevated their catching performance, despite their less-than-ideal results in the tournament.

Pakistan endured four consecutive defeats before finally breaking the streak with a comfortable victory at Eden Gardens.
