ISPR Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said Pakistan is fully prepared and highlighted the country’s strong indigenous military capabilities during a press conference in Islamabad on Thursday.
The briefing was held to mark the first anniversary of Marka-i-Haq, the military conflict between Pakistan and India that began after the April 22 Pahalgam attack and ended with a ceasefire on May 10 following Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.
Senior officials from the Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force also attended the press conference. Lt Gen Chaudhry congratulated the nation on completing one year of Marka-i-Haq and called it a proud and historic moment for Pakistan.
